some of the best things about autumn

are the changing leaves and appetites returning

the weather is something else: i find myself sweating in the morning, pulling on a sweater in the evening and huddling under the covers by midnight

tv has returned to our lives as entertainment, and my knitting is once again fullforce

no desire to work inside right now, the weather and trees are calling me out.

life must go on and i know that all these falling leaves will lead to my favorite barren trees and the quiet that winter will bring
